Encounter Culture
As the Foundation for Jewish Culture celebrates its 50th Anniversary with 21st Century leadership in mind, FJC will honor this milestone with a series of events and cultural engagement opportunities. We are proud to introduce Encounter Culture, a signature program to partner donors with artists and scholars who have directly benefited from FJC’s grants or those who, like the Foundation, have contributed to the cannon of Jewish Culture at large.
At the $7,500 level, donors will be connected to an artist or scholar of their choice from a Foundation generated list of creative figures available for intimate gatherings that may range from sharing a meal and conversation, to engagement before or after a performance, to a salon within the donor’s community. Contributions will benefit the Foundation’s ability to generate the programs that sustain scholars and artists. With endless meaningful encounters, the program’s goal is to bring what the Foundation does to the donor’s door both figuratively and literally. Not only will the donor experience Jewish Culture first-hand, but the opportunity to share its gifts are as far-reaching as the donor wishes with friends, colleagues, and community only an invitation away.
